Gift Aid is reclaimed by Welcome Bureau from HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) from the tax that you pay for the current tax year. If you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your donations, it is your responsibility to pay any difference. Welcome Bureau will reclaim 25p in tax back for every £1 you donate.
